Scottish All Inclusive - 5 Days
Open bar from 19:30 - 22:30hrs, Helensburgh, Gare Loch
Inverary, Loch Lomond, Perth, The Trossachs, New Forth Road Bridge
Sunday Day 1: We travel north, with comfort stops to Drymen in Scotland and the 3* Winnock Hotel, our home for the next 4 nights, with time to freshen up before a welcome drinks reception and our evening meal.
Monday Day 2: We skirt the southern shores of Loch Lomond to the Firth of Clyde and Helensburgh. We then follow the shores of the Gare Loch, passing Faslane to Loch Long. We climb over the Rest & Be Thankful Pass to Inveraray, a town in Argyll and Bute on the western shore of Loch Fyne. It is a former royal burgh, the traditional county town of Argyll, and ancestral home to the Duke of Argyll. Step through the doors of Inveraray Jail and step back in time to a 19th Century Prison. Experience what life was like for the real men, women and children–some as young as seven– who were tried and locked up here. Explore the atmospheric historic buildings at your leisure and meet the costumed characters who animate the past in this unique living museum. After free time here we travel north via Dalmally to Tyndrum, where we break our journey.

Tuesday Day 3: Today we travel east to Perth. Scotland's ancient capital for five centuries, the 'Fair City' of Perth is now the country's newest city. Bustling, compact and beautifully situated on the banks of the River Tay, Perth is a sparkling cosmopolitan gem that keeps on giving visit after visit. Perth's shopping rivals that of many of its larger fellow cities. With bustling weekend markets and stylish shopping centres, the city and its surrounding area offers several unique shopping experiences. Peruse hip independent boutiques and pick up some bargains from all your favourite high street names. Free time here, then we leave after lunch and travel south over the new Forth road bridge and back to Drymen.
Wednesday Day 4: The day is spent in the Trossachs National Park. The Trossachs generally refers to an area of wooded glens and braes with quiet lochs, lying to the east of Ben Lomond in the Stirling area of Scotland. The name is taken from that of a small woodland glen that lies at the centre of the area, but is now generally applied to the wider region. We visit the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre, enjoy the spectacular views, stroll to the waterfall, visit the Red Squirrel Hide or just relax in the café. From here we go to Callander, this pretty, bustling tourist town on the River Reith was Tannochbrae in the T.V series, Doctor Finlay’s Casebook.
Thursday Day 5: We re-trace our footsteps back home to Mid Wales.
