Spring in Norfolk |
East Anglia is always a popular destination and with such a wide variety of things to see and do it’s easy to see why. Relax on the peaceful waterways of the Norfolk Broads, savour picturesque villages or simply enjoy glorious scenery. Over the years the draining of the fens has left a rich fertile land and the towns and cities grew prosperous on the agricultural wealth. Man has for hundreds of years striven to keep the sea from flooding this low area and the influence of the Dutch, experts at reclaiming land from the sea, can be seen everywhere, with drainage dykes and windmills used to pump water back into the sea.

Scottish All Inclusive |

Trossachs is a unique word, for a unique place. It refers to the romantic area of sparkling lochs, crumpled hills, sleepy forests and welcoming villages east of Loch Lomond and west of Stirling. You might hear it called The Highlands in miniature and that is a good description. Sir Walter Scott later visited the areas wild little glens and was so enthralled that he wrote his epic poem The Lady of the Lake about a girl who lived here. We include a visit to the Royal Burgh of Inveraray, a classic example of an eighteenth-century Georgian planned town and an area of spectacular natural beauty and an excursion to The Fair City of Perth. |

Gretna Green - The Best of Both Worlds |
The Scottish Borders stretches from the boundary with the Lothians in the north, to the Cheviot Hills which, along with the River Tweed, mark the border with England in the south. This five day tour showcases England and Scotland in equal measures. With a blend of north, south, old and new, we include a cruise in the Lake District, the Devils Porridge Museum and Lowther Castle and Gardens. Combined with fascinating tours of Secret Solway. Gretna Green in Dumfries and Galloway is possibly the most romantic place in Scotland, if not in the UK. This small village has become synonymous with romance and runaway lovers.

Bute is only 33 miles from Glasgow, as the crow flies, it is one of the most accessible of the westerly islands from the Scottish Central Belt. It’s a peaceful island haven, just a stones throw away from the mainland. Bute is only 15 miles long by 4 miles wide. You might spot porpoises accompanying your ferry journey and if you’ve never seen a seal up close in the wild, head over to Scalpsie Bay. Bute is renowned for its glorious gardens and grand architecture. In Rothesay the Esplanade Gardens can be seen as you get off the ferry and are a summer favourite with visitors.

Best of the North East |
Northumberland is a land of peace and solitude. The wide open spaces of the Northumberland National Park provide a landscape of seemingly endless beauty, from the astonishing engineering feat of Hadrians wall, to the breath taking Cheviot Hills. It offers something for everyone. Northumberland is the most northerly English county. The eastern coast, is low lying and sandy, behind which lies a wide coastal plain. The north provides rich grazing land, and further west a bare upland country leads to the Cheviot Hills.

Staged every year as part of the world-famous Edinburgh Festival, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a unique and memorable celebration of music, dance and military pageantry. It is set against the spectacular backdrop of the floodlit Edinburgh Castle, almost a thousand musicians, pipers, drummers, singers and dancers grace The Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the cobbled Esplanade. |
Worcestershire has peaceful countryside with a turbulent past. Rolling landscape, open hills and breath taking views await you. Cattle graze in the shadows of Iron Age hillforts, medieval settlement remains or on the former battlefields of the English Civil War. Worcestershire mainly lies between the majestic Malvern Hills and the mellow Cotswolds and does include the village of Broadway, known as the Jewel of the Cotswolds and the northern gateway to the Cotswolds. Our four day tour takes in as many of the counties attractions as possible.
